How bad is drinking? Do you think it is very damaging to your mental fitness?
I think it is, and I am considering quitting. Right now, I just drink socially. |

| I wouldn't say that drinking socially is great, but it isn't that bad. If it helps you have fun and make friends, then maybe it is helpful for you in moderation. |

Drinking helps to be more loose and become social. people often find themselves more confident talking to the opposite sex when their a lil loose.
the best party setter is weed tho. |

Bear in mind that any substance or activity that clouds your judgment, makes you 'more loose,' or infringes on your ability to control your life can potentially get you into situations where you relinquish much more control of yourself than you initially thought. This can lead to some serious, serious regrets.
Whether you drink or not is entirely your decision and you shouldn't let anyone else make that decision for you. |

how socially is social? i'm in college and social means drinking until you are drunk drunk...which is terrible for you....moderation is key and ample recovery time between periods of drinking is as well....i am currently in a nutritinal science class in college and we have learned the health effects of heavy alcohol consumption(that is too much and/or not enough time between for the body to totally recover) to be:
arthritis
cancer
fetal alcohol syndrome
heart disease
hyperglycemia - high blood sugar
hypoglycemia - low blood sugar
infertility
kidney disease
liver disease
malnutrition
nervous disorders
obesity
and psychological disturbances
*these are just some of the most common, alcohol has direct toxic effects on all body systems
