In response to Floyd's favorite-movie thread, I'm asking what's your favorite book?

I guess that old book, Catcher in the Rye, would be my favorite. Sadly, it's been banned in many schools.

My favorite books are all the Harry Potter books. Those are the most amazing books I've ever read in my life.

Wait 'til the last one comes out to judge the series. It could end badly, who knows?

The writings of Terry Goodkind in his Sword of Truth novels are amazing, as are the writings of R.A. Salvatore in his Forgotten Realms novels. I don't know how many of you are into fantasy novels, but these books really inspire me to become a stronger person physically, mentally, and spiritually.

The book Scholar Warrior is also good, but I can't remember who the author is.

Catch-22 is one of my favorites.

I have not read The Woman in White. What's it about?

My all time favorite is 1984 by George Orwell, if I haven't said that yet.

I haven't read catch-22. I know it is seen as a classic, but a lot of people I know said that they didn't like it.
